Free Drawing: Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The drawing is sponsored by Bruce Ballistics, a DBA of KAEL WASON LLC ("Sponsor"), Grand Rapids, Michigan. Contact: bruceballistics@gmail.com or (616) 999-2815. Gun show promoters and venues are not sponsors of the drawing and are not responsible for it.

2. Who can enter

• Legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older when they enter.
• Because the prize is body armor, entrants must be legally allowed to own body armor. People convicted of a violent felony may not enter or win (MCL 750.227g, 18 USC 931).
• Residents of Connecticut and New York, and of any place where this drawing or the prize is restricted or prohibited by law, are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
• Owners and members of the Sponsor and their immediate families and households are not eligible.

3. Entry period

This is a single drawing (Free Drawing #1), not a show-by-show or monthly drawing. Entries made at any show table, from a Sponsor card or sign, or on this website all go into it.

• Start. The entry period starts October 7, 2026.
• End. The entry period ends at the earlier of (a) the moment Sponsor receives the 100th eligible entry, or (b) December 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the "Fallback Date"). If 100 eligible entries are never received, the drawing is still held, using all eligible entries received by the Fallback Date.
• Entries received after the entry period ends are not counted and are not carried over to any later drawing.

Sponsor's computer is the official clock and entry counter for this drawing.

4. How to enter

Scan the QR code at Sponsor's table or on a Sponsor card or sign, or visit the drawing entry page on this website, and complete the free entry form with your name, email address, ZIP code and (optionally) phone number. You must confirm that you are 18 or older and legally allowed to own body armor. Checking the box to receive emails is optional and does not affect your chances. If you cannot use the online form, ask Bruce at the table and he will enter you using the same form, free of charge.

Limit: one entry per person, per drawing. Entries are matched by email address; additional entries from the same person in the same drawing are not counted. Entries made with multiple email addresses, by automated means, or by anyone other than the entrant are void.

5. Prize

One (1) prize: one soft armor insert (a 10x12 handgun-rated soft backpack insert, NIJ HG2), approximate retail value $69.00. The exact model is shown at the table. No cash or other substitution, except that Sponsor may substitute a soft armor insert of equal or greater value if the listed item is unavailable. The prize is not transferable. Any taxes are the winner's responsibility.

6. When and how the winner is picked

The drawing is held within 7 days after the 100th eligible entry is received. If 100 eligible entries are not received by the Fallback Date, the drawing is held within 7 days after the Fallback Date (December 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time). Either way, the drawing will take place no later than January 7, 2027.

Sponsor selects one winner at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period, using a computer-based random selection (a cryptographically secure random number generator). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received (at most 100).

7. How the winner is notified and claims the prize

• The potential winner is notified using the email address or phone number they gave on their entry, within 7 days of selection. The winner must reply within 7 days of the first notice.
• The prize is claimed in person at a Sponsor show table or by local pickup in West Michigan. Sponsor does not ship prizes. The winner must show a valid government photo ID proving they are 18 or older and sign a statement confirming they are not prohibited from owning body armor.
• If the potential winner does not reply in time, is ineligible, cannot be reached, declines the prize, or does not pick it up within 60 days of notice, the prize is forfeited and Sponsor may select an alternate winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
• Other entrants are not contacted individually. Entrants who checked the optional email box will get an email when the winner is announced; entrants who did not opt in to email will not be emailed.

8. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Sponsor may use their first name, last initial, city and photo in Bruce Ballistics promotions and on social media, without further payment or notice, except where prohibited by law.

9. Privacy

Entry information is used to run the drawing and contact the winner. If you check the email box, Sponsor may also send occasional emails about shows and products; you can unsubscribe at any time. Sponsor does not sell entry information. See the privacy policy.

10. General conditions

By entering, entrants agree to these rules and to Sponsor's decisions, which are final. Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process or breaks these rules, and may cancel or modify a drawing if it cannot run as planned because of fraud, technical failure or anything else beyond Sponsor's control; in that case the winner will be picked from eligible entries received before the problem. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries. To the extent allowed by law, winners release Sponsor from liability for any injury or loss related to the drawing or the prize. This drawing is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

11. Winner's name

For the first name and last initial of the winner, email bruceballistics@gmail.com with the subject "Drawing winner" within 60 days after the drawing is held.
